We blend your material on-site to guarantee the freshest screed, in the exact amount you require.

If required, we also add retarders to your screed. The use of retardants slows done the hydration of the cement content and thereby prolongs the set time, giving you more time to work with the material.

We can also add fibres to your screed mixture. The use of fibres (which consist of high density monofilaments) prevents shrinkage, settlement cracking, increases the strength and absorbency of the liquid screed as well as increasing impact resistance.

Liquid floor screed is usually a cementitious material made from a 1:3 or 1:4.5 ratio of cement to sharp sand. It may be applied onto either a solid in-situ concrete ground floor slab or onto a precast concrete floor units. The liquid screed may be directly bonded to the base, or laid unbounded onto a suitable damp proof membrane which is placed over the slab. Alternatively, it may be applied as a floating finish over a layer of rigid insulation material.
